*Tuesday Nights on BET seem to be the one of the most viewed nights. They are currently streaming the F in Fabulous, Dish Nation, and Uncommon Seed on the same night as Music Moguls. All of these shows definitely show much diversity; however, Music Moguls is a little more unique.
Executive Producer, Lemuel Plummer, came up with the concept of the docu-series  and thought it would be a great idea to follow the journey of successful male and female hip-hop moguls and reveal some of their secrets on success with their fans.
“I’m one of the very few African American young Executive Producers in Hollywood when it comes to unscripted… For me I look for big projects that are not salacious, not concept driven; but, can still be authentic and real; and inspire people.”
The show was cast by both Plummer and reality TV Personality Ray J, who sought after a heavy hitting crew which currently consists of: Birdman, Damon Dash, Snoop Dogg, and Jermaine Dupri. Throughout the years many of these artists have gained die hard fans that love, follow, and mimick their style.
In the series many scenes throughout the season show the men bonding with their children and talking to them about the importance of continuing on their families legacy. Which is refreshing because some would agree that when hearing about this group of men the narrative is redundant and practical.
“These guys do so much and we just wanted to give everybody an inside look into their world and show that you can become a mogul,” says Plummer.
Overall the show does a great job showing how each mogul balances their business along with their personal lives. Plummer shared that the overall goal was to show  people how to become a mogul.
So far L. Plummer Media has done an awesome job with the production of Music Moguls and the other shows included in their catalog. The season has a few more episodes to go, will you be watching?

By age 22, Lemuel Plummer secured a first look deal with BET Networks, producing several series including the Mo’Nique Show and The Family Crews, before creating and executive producing the docu-series Vindicated.
