*Steve Harvey, host of the EMMY-winning Steve Harvey talk show and Family Feud and star of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, helms a roaring return to Las Vegas for the 2016 State Farm Neighborhood Awards Weekend at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
Being held Friday, July 22nd – Sunday, July 24th, the weekend will include the incredible Maxwell, making his first-ever musical appearance at the State Farm Neighborhood Awards, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees The O’Jays, Erykah Badu, Charlie Wilson, Jill Scott, Keith Sweat, and Doug E. Fresh.
Also joining Harvey for the three-day celebratory weekend are the Steve Harvey Morning Show’s Shirley Strawberry, Nephew Tommy, Carla Ferrell, and Junior, Sheryl Underwood, DJ Mars and many more celebrities.
49 finalists nationwide are nominated across 12 Neighborhood Awards categories.

The Weekend will kick off on July 22nd with the State Farm Color Full Lives Art Gallery which will run three days, the State Farm Sing Your Way competition with the Freedom Friday Concert, and the Freedom Friday Party.
Steve Harvey will also celebrate his 14th year as the only host of the weekend’s main event, on Saturday, July 23rd.  The VIP After-Party on July 23rd and the Neighborhood Awards Beach Party on July 24th will round out the star-studded festivities.

Steve Harvey and television/radio/film producer Rushion McDonald created the one-of-a-kind State Farm Neighborhood Awards (formerly the Hoodie Awards) and State Farm Neighborhood Awards Weekend to recognize and celebrate men and women from all over the United States who uplift their neighborhoods through their contributions and excellence as entrepreneurs, religious and community leaders, educators and more.
Driven by public nominations, the show will bestow 12 non-traditional awards in the following categories: Best High School Coach, Best Nail Salon, Best School Teacher, Best Car Wash Detail Shop, Best Church Choir, Best Soul Food Place, Best Barber Shop, Best High School, Best Barbecue Place, Best Beauty Salon, Best Church, and the Good Neighbor Award. The 2016 State Farm Neighborhood Awards Weekend includes support by State Farm, Tracfone, Masterbuilt, Cracker Barrel, McDonald’s, Crème of Nature, DHerbs, and Wells Fargo.
