*More than 100 black celebrities gathered together at Cedric the Entertainer’s home Wednesday night to hash out ways to address the inflamed racial divide in America, heightened last week by the fatal shootings of two black men by police and the killing of five white police officers in retaliation.
Rapper The Game spoke to “TMZ Live” about the meeting, which included such notables as T.I., Meagan Good, Fonzworth Bentley, Omar and Keisha Epps, Tisha Campbell Martin, Niecy Nash, Kimberly Elise, Tina Lawson, Tasha Smith, Terrence J, Jesse Williams, Larenz Tate, Nate Parker, Boris Kodjoe, Kym Whitley, Kendrick Sampson, Codie Oliver, Tina Lawson, and Compton mayor Aja Brown.
With so many different perspectives represented, The Game said there were lots of disagreements on how best to move forward, but the group unified at the end, said a prayer and agreed to meet again soon, to begin mapping out concrete solutions.
“Once we got all of our opinions out and everybody spoke freely, and was allowed to do so, then we got back to the common goal which is saving each other’s lives,” The Game told “TMZ Live.”
