The Infiltrator” is set to hit theaters this Wednesday, July 13. Bryan Cranston gives a phenomenal performance as U.S. Customs Service special agent Robert Mazur when he goes undercover and uses the alias “Bob Musella” in this drama filled production. Top Lieutenant Roberto Alcaino, played by Benjamin Bratt, falls right into Musella’s plan in this crime thriller.

The lieutenant of a mob like organization must have 3 key components: the ability to be controlling, dominant, and fearful. Robert Alcaino, one of the right hand men of Pablo Escobar embodies the components with the essence of a cut throat leader.

Alcaino understands everybody wants to be at the top and he is willing to cut anybody off to secure his position. Bratt shares with EURweb associate Jimmy V that in order for an individual to be in the presence of his character (Alcaino), they must have gone through the proper doors and shook the necessary hands to be at that level. A man with such power must move very discreetly in order to avoid any trouble.

When Robert Alcaino allows the money-laundering business man Bob Musella into his organization, he believes to have gained a friend. The new friendship grows into a wealthy partnership between Alcaino and Musella. We see the wealthy men and their spouses indulge in the life of riches, power, and freedom. When Alcaino learns that Musella isn’t who he portrays to be, anger and betrayal is all that is left to be understood in this one of a kind true story.
