*Versy, the new interest-based social platform, today announced the release of it’s newest feature – VCode.
Designed to enhance the user experience through the delivery of more relevant, curated content based on a user’s location, the feature is available immediately in Los Angeles, Miami, and New York City, as well as in key cities in Latin America.
The feature works by using geolocation to match a user with one of the platform’s new city-specific interest channels: ‘VCode 310’ for Los Angeles; ‘VCode 305’ for Miami; and ‘VCode 212’ for New York City. Each channel features uniquely curated content and ‘near time’ conversations around popular interests such as food, fashion, events, sports and clubbing.
“VCode gives our users a richer and more valuable experience by enabling them to discover like-minded people near them that they can connect and converse with around common interests,” said Neil Hamilton, Vice President of Business Development. “No other interest based social platform can provide that today.”
Launched on April 12, 2016, Versy is seeing rapid growth and adoption from a predominately millennial community who are using the service to engage and converse with their peers around interests that matter to them.
The launch of VCode is the latest feature to further enrich the user experience following the release of the platform’s King of Interests gamification of social rewards feature on May 24.
