*Rosario Dawson has signed on for the upcoming documentary series “America Divided,” executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, Common and Norman Lear for the cable channel Epix.

Dawson will be featured as a correspondent in a segment about the water crisis in Flint, Mich, reports Variety. She’ll profile the citizen scientists who first identified the existence of lead in the city’s water supply, and investigate the political decision to switch the city’s water supply from Lake Huron and the Detroit River to the toxic Flint River.

Production on Dawson’s segment is set to begin this month.

Other high profile correspondents for “America Divided” include Lear, Common, America Ferrera, Zach Galifianakis, Amy Poehler, Peter Sarsgaard and Jesse Williams – all exploring subjects related to inequality and their own personal backgrounds.

“America Divided” spans four-and-a-half-hours.
