*Giancarlo Esposito is reportedly in final negotiations to join Tilda Swinton, Jake Gyllenhaal and Paul Dano in “Okja,” the latest movie from “Snowpiercer” filmmaker Bong Joon-Ho.

The sci-fi film, which Brad Pitt’s Plan B is producing for a Netflix release, centers on a young girl named Mija (Seo-Hyeon Ahn) who risks everything to prevent a powerful, multi-national company from kidnapping her best friend — a massive genetically manufactured pig named Okja.

Swinton plays the head of the corporation (as well as her twin sister) while Esposito plays Swinton’s character’s right hand man. Gyllenhaal portrays a zoologist, and Dano is an animal activist looking to expose the corporation’s dastardly dealings.

The film is shooting in South Korea, Canada and the U.S., in English and Korean, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Esposito recently appeared in Jodie Foster’s “Money Monster” and voices a character in Disney’s The Jungle Book. He is starring in Netflix’s “The Get Down,” a hip hop-themed series from Baz Luhrmann. He’s wrapped work on three films as well: his directorial project “This Is Your Death,” indie “Stuck” and James Franco’s “The Long Home.”
