‘Finding Dory’ Brings Out the Stars and EUR was There (WATCH)

*Dory was the name in everyone’s mouth as they all came out to celebrate the world premiere of “Finding Dory” at the Hollywood El Capitan Theater on Wednesday, June 8. The blue carpet was laid out and fans flooded the streets of Hollywood Blvd all in hopes of catching a glimpse of some of their favorite stars.

Ellen DeGeneres, Ed O’Neill, and Hayden Rolence (who plays the voice of Nemo), were some of the cast mates who showed up to have a good time. Other celebrities who came out to celebrate “Finding Dory” include Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean, ABC’s “black-ish star,” Marsai Martin, and Tamar Braxton and her family.

EURweb associate Robin Ayers was on the scene to find out what it was like shooting the sequel to “Finding Nemo” and the ever so fun question, “Team Dory or Nemo?”

When asked what his favorite part about shooting this film, Ed O’Neill, who plays the voice of Hank says:

“The writing and the direction was great. It’s very well made. The animation is awesome. The story has heart.”

Hayden Rolence, who is new to the animation world found so much joy and excitement in the opportunity to play Nemo who was previously played by Alexander Gould.

“I watched the movie like three hundred times over just to get my voice prepared”, says Hayden. He also let us in on one of his tricks, to make his voice sound a little older since Nemo would be thirteen years older today.

“It’s one of our Disney movies on loop at home”, says AJ McLean speaking about the original “Finding Nemo.”

His daughter, who interviewed right by her father’s side, is a huge fan of the film and couldn’t wait to see “Dory.”

Ellen DeGeneres fans got a treat when the star waved at the onlookers as she made her way down the blue carpet to take pictures. Ellen plays the voice of Dory in the Disney Pixar film, which hits theaters June 17.
