Warriors’ Draymond Green Suspended for Game 5 Against Cavaliers

*Well sports fans, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. In fact it was pretty much a foregone conclusion. Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors has been suspended for Game 5 of the NBA Finals after the league assessed a Flagrant 1 foul from his scuffle with Cleveland’s LeBron James. (See it via the video above.)

The NBA announced the retroactive decision Sunday, also issuing James a technical on the fourth-quarter play Friday in which the two tussled and exchanged words.

Green has been right on the edge of falling into trouble for much of the postseason. Since this is his fourth flagrant foul, it resulted in the automatic suspension. Additionally, the Warriors star has amassed 5 technical fouls and was fined $25,000 for kicking Oklahoma City’s Steven Adams in the groin during the Western Conference finals.
