*The martial drama between Toya Wright and Mickey “Memphitz” Wright must be profitable because Lil Wayne’s baby momma has again announced that she and Mickey are going forward with their divorce.
Thanks to reality television and social media, fans of couple know that their marriage has been turbulent, and the tension came to a head when the couple filmed an episode of “Untying The Knot,” and it looked like they were definitely heading toward divorce. But the former record exec. and Lil Wayne’s ex decided to give it another go on “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars”. To the surprise of no one, that attempt at reconciliation failed too.

Recently, Toya did an interview with Big Tigger at V103 to talk about the new season of “Marriage Bootcamp” in which she revealed that this season was filmed a year ago, before they did “Untying The Knot”. Additionally, she says the divorce is still on. She also opens up about why relationship didn’t work and what’s next for the NY Times Best-Selling author. Check it out below.
During a 2015 interview with Wendy Williams about her new book “How To Lose A Husband,” Wright explained why she and Memphitz separated.
“My husband started to feel like he was living in my shadow. When I met him he was a big music executive. He discovered talent like T Pain, K Michelle, all different types of artists. And to go from begin a music executive to being known as Lil Wayne’s ex wife’s husband…it just started to take a toll on him.”
Toya also revealed what exactly happened to his career, which ultimately impacted their relationship.
“He started mixing business with pleasure. He got into a relationship with his artist, K Michelle and it was a lot of allegations that he beat her and stuff like that. The person that you see right now, that’s a person who’s dealing with a lot of hurt and pain and that’s just how he’s choosing to deal with it.”
