*Lawrence Taylor’s wife, Lynette Taylor, was arrested for domestic violence after the former NFL player told cops she attacked him during an argument in Florida, TMZ reports.
Cops say Lynette admitted to throwing something at the back of LT’s head, causing a three inch laceration. At one point she told cops, “Yeah, I beat [his] ass. I made him bleed,” but later explained she was just being sarcastic, according to TMZ:
Cops say Lynette was a terror when they arrived to the scene, cussing at them and trying to strike them with her arms and legs. We’ve learned … Lawrence told cops Lynette hit him in the back of the head causing a minor laceration. Lynette denied the allegation — telling officials, “That’s a lie. My husband is a 300 pound linebacker.”
The judge has already ordered Lynette to stay at least 500 feet away from L.T. for the time being — no calls, texts or emails either.
Officials also noted that she has a history of alleged violence — she was arrested at least 3 times (1991, 2001, 2008) … but most charges were dropped.
Despite the craziness, cops say LT told them he does not wish to prosecute. She was arrested anyway on one count of domestic violence and one count of resisting arrest.
