Chinx’s Mother Demands Answers From Puffy, French for His Murder

Chinx Reward

*Rising rapper Chinx Drugz was fatally gunned down in Queens, New York a year ago, and no arrests have been made in his death, but an investigation is still underway. Police believe he was targeted, and his mother wants answers from both Puff Daddy and French Montana concerning the fatal shooting.

During a vigil for the slain rapper this week, Veronica Clinton took aim at Puff and Montana for their lack of support after Chinx’s death. “They need to come out and see me,” she said to FOX 5 News’ Lisa Evers.

“They ain’t said nothing to me since my child been dead. Even when my child was dead they didn’t say nothing to me.” Clinton believes they know something about her son’s death and told FOX that she felt disrespected by them at his funeral. “I asked French why did y’all do that to my child and he said because he wouldn’t listen. I said you’re not his father, but I am his mother.”

Clinton told the reporter that she believes Chinx’s death is related to the 2007 murder of fellow Far Rockaway rapper Stack Bundles.

Chinx, whose real name is Lionel Pickens, was gunned down in Queens on May 17, 2015. He left behind a widow and three children. He died just before the release of his debut album “Welcome to JFK.”

Lt. Richard Rudolph believes Chinx might have been killed by someone who was jealous of his impending success. “He was not involved, as far as we know, with any type of serious drugs. But he was about to make it big. He was going to make money,” he said.

“Nobody, who knows anything about this murder specifically, is cooperating with the police at this time,” Lt. Hall told Fox 5. “Individuals in the rap industry, we really need those people to come forward.”
