*Patti’s pie guy, James Wright Chanel, is ready to show you that he can do more than just sing about eating diabetes-induing sugar. He can also do hair, which has landed him on the cast of WEtv’s “L.A. Hair.”
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports that he has been added to the L.A. Hair cast. His entertaining YouTube review of Patti LaBelle’s sweet potato pie catapulted him to stardom. If you’ve followed his story, then you’re aware that he landed an episode of “Patti LaBelle’s Holiday Pies,” last December.
WE TV’s hit reality show. “L.A. Hair” debuted in 2012 and was originally titled Hair Divas: Hollywood. The series follows celebrity stylist Kim Kimble and her staff at her salon, Kimble Hair Studio. Sources say James is a hair stylist, who will be showcasing his dynamic hair skills and entertaining fans with his vivid personality – no doubt he’ll sprinkle on the drama too!
“L.A. Hair” is currently filming season 5. There’s no word on when the series will return to WEtv, because some cast members haven’t confirmed whether they’re returning as a result of contractual disagreements.

Meanwhile, House of Pain’s Everlast has blasted Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump for playing his hit 1992 “Jump Around” during Trump rallies.
In an interview with Billboard, the rapper — real name Erik Schrody — said someone on Twitter sent him a CNN clip featuring footage from a Trump rally where “Jump Around” was playing in the background.
Schrody went on to call Trump a “fucking racist piece of shit” and said: “Fuck that dude,” Schrody continued. “I’ll smack that fucker’s combover right off his fucking scalp.” He added: “This man is going to ruin this country single-handedly. Just the fact that he [could be] president is going to get us shunned by the world.”
Everlast posted a statement on Instagram saying, “I’ve been informed @realDonaldTrump is using Jump Around at his rallies. Stop Playing my song you ignorant racist piece of sh*t lawyers are already on it…”. The groundbreaking rapper continued by rejecting any potential financial offer from Trump “I don’t want your money no amount you offer will get the license…”.
He followed up his IG post with a shoutout to fellow west coast rappers YG and Nipsey Hussle who recently released a single entitled “F*ck Donald Trump.”
