*uh oh, what do we have here?

The Dr. Dre and Suge Knight relationship is back in the news in a drastic way.

On Monday (04-04-16) court documents were filed on behalf of Knight who’s been rotting at LA County Jail for past year or so by a lawyer that alleges Dr. Dre (real name Andre Young) worked with a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy. to murder Knight.

It is said to have gone down in 2014 after Knight was shot 7 times while attending an after party for the Video Music Awards in Hollywood nightclub 1OAK, according to TMZ.

According to Knight’s attorney, Thaddeus Culpepper, a sheriff’s deputy of purposely let the shooter inside of the club where Suge was later injured. In court documents, Culpepper, says his claims are solidified by two damning videos: a club surveillance video depicting Deputy Henry Boyd opening the door for the gunman and video footage of the deputy helping the gunman flee the county at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

OK, you may be thinking this is really bizarre sounding, but how does this implicate Dr. Dre?

The documents claim that the shooter made a confession implicating Young for allegedly paying him and an accomplice a $50K fee to carry out the attempted murder.

Additionally, the documents claim Deputy Boyd was questioned by authorities about the shooting and subsequently resigned from the department.

Interesting. Anyway, as we said up top, Knight is currently being held in a Los Angeles area jail … on attempted murder and murder charges.

It probably won’t surprise you to know that Dr. Dre’s attorneys say the claim is “ridiculous.” However, the LA County Sheriff’s department has still hasn’t responded … yet.
