*The 11th Annual Jazz in the Gardens (JITG) music festival at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida brought out an international grown and sexy crowd, as well as, lovers of funk, rock, R&B, jazz, and soul.
The City’s signature event boasted a stellar lineup and concert goers enjoyed great food from 40 tasty food vendors.
To kick off the first day of Jazz in the Gardens, R & B legend Charlie Wilson performed a 2-hour set and still left the crowd screaming for more.
Janelle Monae gave an electrifying performance and paid homage to James Brown and the Jackson 5 while rallying the crowd with her battle cry for equality for all, “I wear black and white to pay respect to all races, and if you believe women should be paid as much as men, make some noise!”
Babyface rolled out his long list of R&B hits that included “Soon as I Get Home” and “Every Time I Close My Eyes.” He even performed other songs that he wrote and produced for other artists like Bobby Brown’s “Rock Wit’cha” and “Every Little Step” to Boyz II Men’s “End of the Road.”
Usher closed out the weekend by bringing his usual sexy and cool. He performed the heartbreak anthem “Burn” the sexual ballad “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home), along with, “U Got It Bad,” “Yeah,” “Lovers and Friends” and “Good Kisser.”
To conclude the night, Usher could not resist sharing the stage with his collaborator and friend, Babyface.
