*In celebration of Women’s History Month in Los Angeles, Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation (VSEDC) and BuusinessSource Center (BEC)  holds this annual Business event dedicated to spotlight the challenges and opportunities that Women-Owned Family-Owned Businesses face.

Attendees have the opportunity to learn firsthand about the challenges and successes of owning and operating a business enterprise as well as the on-going development, pitfalls and successes of a variety of local Women-Owned businesses.

Growing out of a small-town school event in California, Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society.

The United States has observed it annually throughout the month of March since 1987. This event pays homage to the many women who are making their own Her Story through entrepreneurship.
