*Canada, you have been warned.
Raven-Symone has vowed to move north of the border if Donald Trump or anyone in his party becomes…nominated?
“My confession for this election is if any Republican gets nominated I’m gonna move to Canada with my entire family,” she asserted during her hosting gig on “The View” on Thursday.
Asked if she was joking, she declared, “I already have my ticket. I literally bought my ticket, I swear.”
We’re assuming that she meant “if any Republican gets elected.”
Also on the show, the ladies discussed a recent poll that found 20 percent of Trump supporters don’t approve of the Emancipation Proclamation, the executive order signed by Abraham Lincoln which freed slaves in 10 states.
While insisting that she didn’t agree with that opinion, Candace Cameron Bure suggested that the poll was “tricky,” as the Emancipation Proclamation question was buried in a line of queries about presidents taking executive actions.
Joy Behar wasn’t trying to hear it.
“We fought a war over that. The North won the war. So what is this executive action?” Behar said. “It was also a war to eliminate slavery. So these people don’t know what they’re talking about.”
“It’s meaningful,” Goldberg said of the poll result. “And yesterday he talked about how glad he was to talk to the under-educated folks. It kind of bothers me that this is what he’s saying is a good thing.”
