Raven-Symone Fired from The View? – Quincy Teams with Lee Daniels

Raven-Quincy*Has Raven-Symone’s slick mouth finally caught up with her? According to reports, the former child star is no longer a co-host on ABC’s popular daytime talk show, “The View.” Raven apparently cleared out her desk and quietly left the building about 2 weeks ago.

Her last appearance on the show was Jan. 18, and Whoopi Goldberg excused her unscheduled absence as a “sick day,” although many have pointed out that she hasn’t looked sick in her social media pictures. She even filmed a stint on ABC’s “black-ish.”

The past year has seen Raven continue to make headlines because of her controversial remarks, mostly aimed at black people. She also got dumped by her longtime girlfriend, “America’s Next Top Model” contestant AzMarie Livingston.

While some fans have taken to social media to expresses concern about Raven’s whereabouts, others are pleased with her absence. There’s no evidence that Raven-Symone has been fired from “The View.” After all, her name still appears in the opening credits, and on the ABC website. Some fans are convinced that she’s absent because she’s still in California filming “blackish,” though that too has not been confirmed, so stay tuned.

Meanwhile, actor/singer Quincy Brown has confirmed that Lee Daniels’ next project will be about an Atlanta based girl group. Daniels’ is gearing up to produce the new TV show, and HipHollywood caught up Quincy who has nabbed a part on the yet-untitled pilot.

“It’s about a girl group and the ups-and-downs of that, can’t say too much more than that,” explained Quincy who was last seen in “Dope.”

Quincy not only auditioned for a role on “Empire,” he also had to prove himself once more to Daniels in order to secure a part in this untitled girl group project. “It was from the ground up. It was like 8 call backs in total. It don’t come easy,” Brown said.

Daniels has announced that Queen Latifah and Benjamin Bratt will lead the cast, along with transgender model Amiyah Scott, according to a photo posted on Daniels’ Instagram account.

First of all Raven has to realize who supported her when she was a baby on the Cosby second of all please dont let money take you out of focus forgetting where you come from. on the t.v. talk show the View she has said so many down grading words directed to black folks that set us back 20 years or longer. Raven is young she really dont know a lot about her own people and what ever comes out of her mouth can be very very disturbing.
