*The heat of the “Oscars so White” was definitely a hot topic at the NAACP Image Awards Nominees Luncheon this past Saturday, January 23rd.
An even hotter topic? The Nominations of the upcoming Image Awards which includes six for Ryan Coogler’s “Rocky” spinoff, “Creed,” with “Straight out of Compton” and Spike Lee’s Chi-Raq” trailing not too far behind!
Hollywood’s hottest came out to support the NAACP’s 47th Annual ceremony. Among the star sightings of the day were Anthony Anderson (“Black-ish”), Loretta Devine (“For Colored Girls”), Teyonah Parris (“Chi-Raq”) and so many more!
Of course EURweb was on the carpet handling business! EUR associate Loren LoRosa dug into a few of your favorites including Tyrese who dished all on his Oscar feud with Chris Rock, and Naturi Naughton (“Power’s” Keisha) who dropped some jewels on how she’s reclaiming her throne on the next season of “Power” and why she just can’t support the feelings of fellow female actress, Stacey Dash.
