Trump’s Spokeswoman Katrina Pierson Has a History of Racist Tweets

katrina-pierson*From the tweets she’s sent out over the years, Donald Trump’s spokeswoman Katrina Pierson looks to carry the same controversial mindstate as the GOP presidential frontrunner.

Examining Pierson’s history of tweets, Mediaite notes how they should not surprise anyone, considering her “So what, they’re Muslim” defense of Trump’s proposed ban of Muslim people from entering the United States. The site goes on to reference the candidates in the 2012 presidential election while acknowledging that Pierson voiced her opinion of incumbent President Barack Obama and his Republican opponent Mitt Romney in a tweet that labeled politicians as not being “pure bred.”

Taking it further, Pierson weighed in on the choice of presidential contenders that year with following the lead of those who have accused Obama of secretly being a Muslim. In Pierson’s eyes, the decision was between a “Mormon or Jihadi.”

Pierson’s knack for eyebrow raising material continued in December, with her tweeting she would wear a fetus next time after wearing a necklace made of bullets on CNN in December.

According to Mediaite, Pierson’s critique of Obama was present in 2013, with her calling the president Obama an outdated term used before the Civil Rights era.

Although Pierson implied the tweets were made up when asked about them, Mediaite was quick to point out the tweets are still on her timeline. In addition, the site referenced the following tweet, which mentioned Pierson’s previous allegiance to Texas senator Ted Cruz’s team before handling public relations for Trump.
