Michel’le Inspires Young Girls To Build Self-Esteem Through Music

Michel'le*Michel’le is laying the foundation for young girls to pursue their dreams as part of the Saving Our Cinderellas program.

The “R&B Divas LA” star will serve as an inspirational mentor for girls at the Boys & Girls Club East Los Angeles while teaching them to optimize their vocal abilities in the “Vocal Princess” program, according to a press release.

The “Vocal Princess” program, which is connected to Saving Our Cinderellas, is designed to inspire young girls who have interest in music and/or drama and experienced bulling in school.

“I am so excited about working with the girls at the Boys & Girls Club East Los Angeles,” Michel’le said in a statement. “Being apart of a program that helps young people go after their dreams is something special and I feel it’s an honor and privilege to participate.”

Michel’le’s involvement in the “Vocal Princess” program is a true plus, according to Saving Our Daughters chief executive officer Curtis Benjamin, who had nothing but praise for the singing veteran.

“It will be such an honor of having Michel’le working with our vocal component of the Saving Our Cinderellas program as she has such an incredible voice which will absolutely inspire our girls at the club,” he said in the release.

Michel’le is the latest well-known entertainer to work with the Boys & Girls Club of East Los Angeles. Those working with members of the organization over the years include guest dancers from Jennifer Lopez and Mary J. Blige’s dancers as well as recent Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez, who has taught acting classes.
