Herman Cain Claims ‘Trump Phenomenon’ Winning Over Black Women

herman cain

*Herman Cain isn’t running for president this time around, but he’s making news with revealing how Donald Trump is winning over black women.

Raw Story cites an appearance the former GOP presidential contender made on “Fox & Friends” in which he claimed the power of the “Trump Phenomenon” is striking such a nerve with black women that they are jumping ship from the Democratic Party to team Trump.

“And let me tell you a phenomenon that I discovered on my radio show. I get callers who call up and say, ‘I am black, I’m female and I’m going from Democrat to Trump,’” Cain said. “They didn’t say they were going from Democrat to Republican, they’re going from Democrat to Trump. I think that’s part of the phenomenon.”

Summing up the Trump phenomenon, Cain used three words:

“Leadership, fighter and winner.”

“What Trump is doing that the others may not be doing as well is attracting nontraditional voters,” Cain pointed out. “I’ve seen many quotes of people who said, ‘I have given up on voting, I gave up on it but I’m coming back in.’”

While the notion of Trump getting support from black women may be hard to swallow, political consultant Frank Luntz admitted to Politico that it may not be that outrageous considering Trump’s chances of winning the black vote if he wins the Republican presidential nomination.

“If he were the Republican nominee he would get the highest percentage of black votes since Ronald Reagan in 1980,” Luntz stated.

“They find him fascinating, and in all the groups I have done, I have found Obama voters, they could’ve voted for Obama twice, but if they’re African American they would consider Trump.”

So what say you? With everything Trump has done and said in his bid to become president, does he have a good shot at gaining the black vote if he becomes the GOP nominee or is it a very crazy thing that has no chance of becoming reality?

Weigh in below:

  1. BOY BYE! Is he crazy and delusional? Not this black woman and I don’t know any black women that will be voting for Trump!

  2. BOY BYE! Is he crazy or just delusional? I’m a black woman and I have no intentions of voting for Trump and I don’t know any black women that will be voting for him! Trump doesn’t have a clue with what to do with issues concerning black people.

  3. Hi Mr.Cann, how did that presidential race workout? Nice hearing from you. Oh by the way if you talk to ben Carson tell him keep up the good work. LOL

  4. Herman Cann was a fool eight years, and he’s an even bigger fool today. — An Uncle Tom is so well trained that it will demonstrate ignorance and subservience to its Master even when it’s not required to do so. Good work UNCLE RUCKUS! What’s next in your bag of tricks?

  5. It’s just been discovered that Cain and the rest of his black conservative buddies are descendants of the Moteesu tribe in Africa. MOTEESU as in massa, would you like MO TEE SU!

  6. Aw hell no! Who dug up this non-relevant Tom? Doesn’t he know they (Trump and GOP) don’t really care about us? Cain is making this garbage up!
