*Hmm, if the “tea” leaves are being read correctly, one would have to conclude that Shante Broadus (a/k/a Boss Lady) is on the verge of filing for divorce from her famous pot-loving, rapper husband of 26 years, Snoop Dogg.
The tea we’re talking about comes in the form of Instagram postings that are strong hints that make it clear she’s none too pleased with her spouse.
“All the singles ladies,” Broadus captioned a recent photo.
It’s a picture of inspiring words which reads:
“What’s a queen without her king? Well, historically speaking, more powerful.”
Shante Broadus, who leads an entertainment company called Boss Lady Enterprises and has a purse line and dance studio, indicated something was awry via her Instagram postings last week.
She posted a picture with a caption that read: “I want to meet someone who makes me feel the way music does.”
She quickly followed up with four additional motivational pictures — the kind usually shared on social media by those rearing from a breakup.
“Be with someone who will take care of you. Not materialistically but take care of your soul,” another photo read.
Meanwhile, according to the NY Daily News, Snoop was nowhere to be seen in holiday photos Broadus shared with their children.
Interestingly, Snoop has stayed off the social media radar with any talk about his relationship with Shante.
However, he did post a throwback picture of Shante on Thursday, simply captioned “tbt.”
Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr. met Shante in high school in Long Beach, CA. That have 3 children (all grown) together
The pair have been on the verge of divorce at least once before. In 2004, the rapper filed, but cancelled plans for divorce and they renewed their vows in 2008.
“I understand that I need my wife and my kids in my life — so I threw the papers away. I don’t want to get a divorce,” he told MTV at the time.
