*Ciara took to Instagram to gush about her adorable 1-year-old son, Future Zahir Wilburn. She called her little man ‘a blessing from the Lord.’
“Children are a blessing from the Lord; the fruit of the womb a reward. Psalms 127:3,” the singer captioned in an Instagram photograph of herself hugging her son, whom she shares with rapper Future.
“Honestly, I feel like everything in life happens for a reason and my son has been the greatest gift that God has given me in my life and been the most game-changing thing that’s happened to my life, in a necessary way,” said Ciara on Power 105.1 FM’s syndicated radio show “The Breakfast Club,” earlier this year.
Ciara has dated rappers Bow Wow and 50 Cent, as well as NBA player Amar’e Stoudemire. She and Future were engaged in October 2013, but called off the engagement in August 2014. Cici has been dating Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson since April of 2015.
The couple recently celebrated a relationship milestone when they spent their first Christmas together and Ciara shared her excitement about the event on Instagram.
“Kinda Like Had The Best Christmas Ever,” she wrote next to a photo of the two smiling cheek-to-cheek. “Theme: Love, Happiness, Gratefulness, and Family. Nothing Can Amount To The Value Of Those Gifts.”
Prior to exchanging Christmas gifts with her family, Cici and Wilson made time to spread a bit of holiday cheer to the children at the Seattle Children’s hospital on December 22.
She shared pics from their visit, writing that they “Made An Awesome Team” in their mission to “Spread Love, Put A Smile On Each Child’s Face, Let Each Child Know They’re Loved and That Were Praying For Them… #MissionAccomplished”
Ciara, who has sold over 23 million records worldwide, released her sixth album “Jackie” in 2015. It debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200 and sold 19,000 copies. It was her lowest first-week album sales to date.
