Earlier this week, Cam Newton revealed to the world he and his longtime girlfriend, Kia Proctor, have welcomed a baby boy into the world.
Now, thanks to the Charlotte Observer’s Jonathan Jones we know lil’ dude’s name. Are you ready for it. His name is Chosen. Yes, Chosen Newton.
Newton spoke about his newborn son at the Panthers’ Thursday press conference ahead of their Week 17 home game against the Buccaneers.

The NFL MVP candidate has been even more excited than usual since Chosen was born on Christmas Eve, teammates told the Observer.
BTW, Chosen tipped the scales at nine pounds, six ounces and is already 20 inches long.
“He has a couple scholarship offers already the on the table and things of that sort,” Cam joked. “I’m not pushing him to be anything. He’s just super already.”
OK, we hear you proud Papa, but what we wanna know is WHEN are we gonna SEE the CHOSEN one. 🙂
