*(Via Cnet) – Short battery life has long been considered the smartphone’s Achille’s heel, something Apple recently tried to remedy with the Smart Battery Case for its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S.
Oukitel, however, has taken a different approach. The Chinese company’s new K10000 phone has a huge 10,000 mAh battery, which it claims can last between 10 and 15 days on a full charge.
The K10000 was announced back in July and is currently available for preorder. It costs $240 (which roughly converts to AU$330 or £160) and will be released next month. It has a 5.5-inch, 1,280×720-pixel display, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera and is powered by a MTK6735 Quad Core processor.
