*Oftentimes, what happens when you get high off that good-good, you feel compelled to expound on topics that are out of your depth or totally beyond your comprehension.
Bow Wow (AKA Chad Moss) was recently schooled on the Art of Stay In Yo Lane, after he took to social media to explain that the origin of the now-popular “dabbin’ dance” stems from smoking weed. His comments left many wondering if he got high before he posted such dribble.
A video began circulating of Bow Wow telling fans, “the whole world dabbin, and they don’t even know or understand what dabbin is. First of all, dab is a strong way to smoke marijuana, it’s the purest form of marijuana, it’s extremely strong. So the dance comes from when you smoke and you cough and the first thing you do is…” He says before doing a dab, much to the dismay of Migos and Rich the Kid, and several other Atlanta rappers who all had a ‘WTF did I just watch?’ response to Chad’s video (peep it below).
“We don’t know what made Bow Wow wake up and do that. Like, no one knows,” said Jose Guapo, the creator of the dance. “That’s not the definition of our movement. Don’t try to break something down when you don’t know what you’re talking about. Just remain on C.S.I. or something,” he added with a laugh.
Rich The Kid also claims he attributed to the viral dance, tweeting “We just want our credit” along with “Somebody pls tell Bow Wow stfu cuz that is NOT where the dab came from! F**in clown.”
Migos added: “Bow wow must of got a little too high this morning.”
“I thought Bow Wow actually gave a legitimate explanation of the Dab Dance origin,” wrote one Twitter user. “Turns out all he did was take another L.”
