*For the girl who has everything, Tyrese Gibson looks to have things very covered with his 8-year-old daughter Shayla.
Chatting with “Entertainment Tonight” while attending GQ’s Men of the Year party on Thursday (Dec. 3) in Los Angeles, the 36-year-old singer-actor confessed that he recently bought Shayla an island, People reports.
“Can’t say [where],” Gibson said when asked what is the most lavish gift he’s ever given anybody. “She knows all about it and the island is called Love Island. I’ll be putting it up on my Facebook soon.”
Gibson’s appearance at the Men of the Year party comes after he recently co-authorized a series of children’s books with Shayla. Although he let the cat out of the bag with giving his daughter an island, the entertainer was silent when asked what he will give Shayla for Christmas.
“She watches a lot of TV so I wouldn’t want to put it on air, because she will probably see it,” Gibson said, adding that “life is good … daddy duties are real, man, I love it.”
