*Fans who have never seen the TBS comedy “Angie Tribeca” starring Rashida Jones will get five chances to binge-watch all of season one before Monday’s premiere of season 2.
All 10 half-hour episodes of the quirky police procedural will air from start to finish not once, but five times in a row, commercial-free. This 25-hour marathon begins Sunday, Jan. 17.
Then on Monday, Jan. 25, TBS will begin rolling out the show’s “second” season — 10 more half-hours that will air weekly.
The series follows a squad of LAPD detectives who investigate cases ranging from the murder of a ventriloquist to a rash of baker suicides.
Jones (“Parks and Recreation”) plays Detective Angie Tribeca, with Jere Burns (“Justified,” ”Breaking Bad”) as her harried captain. The series is produced by Steve and Nancy Carell.
