*Let it be known that Sofia Vergara is not among those who were sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby.

Responding to claims from the Spanish radio show El Candela that she “could’ve been one of Cosby’s victims,” the “Modern Family” star slammed the show, which weighed in on a recently resurfaced interview Vergara did with Cosby on “The Late Show With David Letterman.”

“A video of an interview of Bill Cosby and a young  Sofia Vergara came out. It’s rumored if she could’ve been one of his victims,” El Candela tweeted in Spanish.

“Respect people. Stop inventing nonsense,” she tweeted in her reaction to El Candela.

The interview in question occurred in 2003 when Cosby filled in for “Late Show” host David Letterman while he was out sick. As viewers watched, it was obvious to see that Cosby took a liking to Vergara.

“You make me feel young again,” Cosby says in the interview before leaning in closer to Vergara and chatting in a fake Spanish accent. “You make me feel very … excited. Look at me.”

“Don’t die on me!” Vergara said, laughing. “This is my first time on American TV. Don’t die here! But maybe if you do die I will be very famous. Tomorrow everybody will know me. Bill Cosby died interviewing Sofia Vergara,” she continued after he leaned back and gave her a little more space.

As the interview progressed, Vergara put a halt to Cosby’s flirtation as she gently told the comedian, “You can’t talk to a girl like that.”

Considering the sexual assault and drugging allegations that are currently dogging Cosby, the TV icon’s  creepy “Late Show” interaction with Vergara definitely brings to mind what’s plaguing him and his legacy at this moment and time.

Upon seeing the interview, Victoria Valentino, one of the women currently bringing accusations against Cosby, voiced how it came across to her, saying, “It’s creepy.”
