*Sean “Diddy” Combs slammed the voting process and politics as a whole during a Q&A at a recent music conference in Miami for his company, Revolt, Vibe reports.

The theme of the October 17 event was “The Merging of Music, Technology and Innovation,” and Combs welcomed questions from fans via social media and live in person regarding the music business and his career. The mogul made a surprising confessing when asked by a female fan how young people can get involved and be heard in next year’s presidential election.

“See the things that’s tricky about politics is there’s so much bullsh*t with it,” Combs said to the crowd, according to HipHopWired. “We started Vote or Die and…and from the community we’re in, we’re not with hearing too much of the bullsh*t. So that’s why we get disenfranchised, [we’re] disconnected because nothing that they’re saying actually relates to us.”

His comments come as a shock to many who recall Diddy’s heavy Vote or Die push a few years ago. Combs was the founder of Citizen Change, the now-defunct political service group backed by celebrities Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey and 50 Cent, which aimed to get young people to vote.

“So ‘Vote Or Die,’ and getting out the vote, those things [were] laid out there so people could understand about the process,” he said. “We started ‘Vote or Die,’ and the whole process was all full of sh*t. The whole sh*t is a scam.”

After keeping it real with the crowd about his political views, Diddy encouraged those in attendance to still go out and rock the vote in next year’s presidential election.

“We have different aims and the young have more power than ever,” he explained. “You got 200 followers, if you decide that you want to make it a topic of discussion and that thing goes viral… So do your part, and leave the bullsh*t out of it. Let’s make a difference in this election. We all can play a part.”

Meanwhile, Combs will serve as producer of a forthcoming ABC sitcom titled “The Hustle.” According to THR, the program will center on the come-up of Sean’s former assistant, Sarah Snedeker, “a small-town girl who lands a job working as an assistant to a street-educated billionaire business mogul where she is instantly thrown into a foreign world of extravagance, debauchery and adventure.” She is now an exec at his Revolt Films Banner.
