*As previously reported, Mariah Carey will be making her directorial debut this fall on a Christmas movie in which she will also star.
It was announced Tuesday that the film, titled “Melody &Mistletoe,” will be shot in Cincinnati beginning in October, according to WCPO-TV.
Kristen Schlotman, executive director of the Greater Cincinnati Film Commission, says they are “ecstatic” to have another movie filmed in the city.
The made-for-TV movie will air on the Hallmark Channel Dec. 19 as part of Hallmark Channel’s annual “Countdown to Christmas” programming.
