*Comedy Central has given a second season to “The Nightly Show,” keeping host Larry Wilmore at the network through the end of 2016.
More importantly for viewers, Wilmore will be around for the 2016 presidential election, preceded by “The Daily Show” with new host Trevor Noah.
Wilmore and his team includes executive producer Rory Albanese, head writer Robin Thede, and contributor Mike Yard.
