*The intro to “Meet the Press” is getting a makeover.
This weekend, moderator Chuck Todd will celebrate his one-year anniversary as host of the Sunday morning public affairs program, and actor Dennis Haysbert will begin his run as the voice of its iconic opening line: “Welcome to Sunday. It’s ‘Meet the Press.”
The 61-year-old actor’s voice is part of several updates Todd has made to the show, according to TheHill.com.
