Cynthia Bailey Could Be Demoted on ‘Housewives’ for Kicking Porsha

*As previously reported, Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams got into a fight while filming a scene for the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” this week.

The verbal argument turned physical after Williams continuously called Bailey a “b—h.” Bailey tried to walk away, but Williams followed her and continued to antagonize her until Bailey allegedly kicked Williams in the stomach. RHOA cameras filmed the altercation, which took place on a boat.

“Words were going back and forth,” says an insider to PEOPLE. “Cynthia snapped and kicked Porsha in the stomach while wearing high heels.”

Another source told OK Magazine, “Cynthia initially walked away, but she said Porsha followed after her,” the insider said. “Porsha wanted to run at the mouth and keep it going.” When Williams got too close to Bailey’s face, she “turned around and karate kicked her in the stomach and took the wind out of her,” before producers intervened.

Porsha was treated at the hospital and later discharged with pain medication. She has stated that she’s not going to press charges against Cynthia, but the show’s producers are considering what disciplinary action to take, and it could include demoting Bailey on the show.

According to TMZ, sources from the show’s production team are saying that Bravo executives are now reviewing footage of the fight, and depending on whether or not the fight is good for ratings, Bailey could end up like Williams and be demoted to a “friend of the show” role and having her pay reduced.

Here’s to hoping that two grown women fighting will be entertaining enough to keep the checks rolling in. Lawd knows The Bailey Agency needs it.

This isn’t Williams’ first on-air brawl: She was charged with battery in 2014 after getting into a physical fight with castmate Kenya Moore while taping the reunion special.

  1. Porsha wasn’t demoted for pulling Kenya across the floor by her hair, Cynthia should not be demoted for kicking Porsha. although childish, it was self defense.
