*President Barack Obama was walking around New Orleans on Thursday to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina when he came across a local resident named Weezy.
“Weezy? Really? Like, Weezy? Like in ‘Sanford & Son?'” Obama said.
Oops.
Weezy corrected the president, who should’ve referred to “The Jeffersons,” (as in Louise “Weezy” Jefferson), but he recovered from the mistake when the two then broke out into the show’s famous theme song, “Movin’ On Up.”
