*One can only wonder how T.I. and Tiny got themselves in this mess.
Well, actually one doesn’t have to wonder. It’s real simple. It happens when you don’t file your taxes.
According to Page Six, T.I. whose guv’ment name is Clifford Harris, owes the IRS over $4.5 million in unpaid taxes from 2012 and 2013
The first federal tax lien was filed earlier this month in Georgia and states that Harris, 34, along with his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, owe the US government just under $1.4 million in unpaid taxes for the year 2012.
A second lien against T.I. only was filed later in the month by Uncle Sam for nearly $3.2 million in unpaid taxes for 2013.
The “Blurred Lines” rapper is on top of the situation, however.
“Mr. Harris and his team are working with the appropriate parties to resolve this matter,” his rep tells Us Weekly.
It really shouldn’t be a problem for Tip, as he’s also known, because his net worth is $215 million according to the Daily Mail.
