*Glen “Big Baby” Davis offers a possible explanation for Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes claiming to be in some sort of budding relationship with Rihanna, when the singer swears they’ve never even met.
Los Angeles Clippers star Davis, Barnes’ former teammate, told SI Now’s Maggie Gray that Barnes is “obsessed” with her and “talks about her all the time.”
“I think he likes her,” Davis said. “I think he just had a big crush. He said a little too much. He has a crush. It’s just a little high school fling thing. He’s just obsessed with her. Like on the plane, he talks about her all the time. … It was just something friendly, Rihanna didn’t have to kill him like that.”
Davis was then asked to name reasons why Riri should give Barnes a chance. Big Baby looked in the camera and replied: “Because she likes rough guys, tattoos, light skin’ded guys, you know. Matt, he has two kids, he’s a good father, he’s a wonderful person.”
