*Wednesday nights may become a bit more interesting if NBC has anything to say about it.
The network is hoping for big laughs as it presents its newest comedic offering, “Mr. Robinson,” starring comedian Craig Robinson as the lead singer and keyboardist of a funk band called Nasty Delicious; alongside little brother and band mate, Ben Robinson (played by Brandon T. Jackson).
Robinson supplements his income by working as a substitute teacher. And it is in the classroom that the antics really take place!
Cast mates in the Wednesday night comedy also include Spencer Grammar, Amandla Stenberg, Tim Bagley, Ben Koldyke, and special appearances from Meagan Good.
Stenberg, whose wisdom far outweighs her 16-years, has been publicly celebrated on social media as of late for her eloquent articulation when speaking out against stars who misappropriate culture for style.
The ‘Hunger Games’ actress specifically sounded off on celebrities such as Kylie Jenner, Miley Cyrus, Katie Perry and Taylor Swift.
And audiences will love seeing the talented Meagan Good; who will appear sporadically in what appears to be fun role about the girl who got away from Robinson.
The “Think Like A Man” actress has been busy directing music videos and independent films during her absence from the spotlight.
Mr. Robinson plans to be a knee slapping comedy that will start off your Wednesday nights at 9 PM PST/ 8 PM CST.
