Kindred the Family Starts Annual “Family Gathering” in Philly with Celebrity Friends

*Philadelphia  Kindred the Family Soul presents the Annual Kindred the Family Reunion at the Kingsessing Recreation Center, 4901 Kingsessing Ave., Philadelphia, on Sunday, August 9 from noon to 5 p.m. The community event will feature a “Kindred and Friends Jam Session”, celebrity softball game, basketball clinic, food, activities for kids, an artist meet & greet, and other fun activities.

“Our music has taken us all around the world to share our message of love, hope, and hustle with our amazing fans. But no matter where we go, Philly is home. It’s where we live. It’s where we work. It’s where we play. It’s where we’ve raised our growing family,” said Aja and Fatin of KFS. “It’s our way to show appreciation and love to our community.”

Some celebrity friends of the self-proclaimed “Philly’s First Family” will participate in the Annual Kindred Family Reunion including CNN’s Marc Lamont Hill, NFL Super Bowl champ Barrett Brooks and more, as well as a special appearance by ESPY winner Mo’ne Davis.

“Kindred the Family Soul has always been about bringing family together, loving relationships and having fun,” said Fatin. “It’s in our music and we live it every day.”
