*A funeral service for Bobbi Kristina Brown will take place this week in Atlanta, Ga.
A family source revealed to ETOnline that the body of Bobbi Kristina, daughter of the late Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, will be flown to Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey following the service to be buried next her mother.
News of Brown’s funeral and burial comes one day after she died Sunday (July 26) surrounded by her family. The young woman was found unresponsive in her bathtub on Jan. 31, 2015. Brown was ultimately placed in a medically induced coma at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after she was initially taken to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Ga. It was there that Brown was put on a ventilator to assist her breathing.
Nearly two months after being placed in the coma, Brown was moved to rehabilitation center, where she remained until June 24. From there, Brown was moved to the hospice center where she died on Sunday.
Brown’s passing eerily echoes the death of Houston, who died on Feb. 11, 2012, after she was found unconscious in a bathtub at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. ET notes that the award-winning entertainer was buried next to her father, John Russell Houston, eight days later at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey.
During their time together, Brown was very close to Houston. She was 18 when the singer died. Media sources report that upon learning of her mother’s death, Brown suffered a hysterical breakdown and had to be sedated and hospitalized. Soon after, she was discharged after being treated for severe stress and anxiety.
