*The Braxtons’ self-proclaimed “party girl” Trina Braxton has a new man, and let her sister Traci tell it, “Trina told everyone she was dating a Black man. But I never really believed her until now. Black! Not just Black, he Blaq. With a Q! Her life is going to change foreverrrr!”
Trina recently finalized her divorce from Gabe Solis, and in a clip from Thursday night’s episode of “Braxton Family Values,” exclusively obtained by Madame Noire, the pop-singer introduces her sisters to her new beau, Jacent. Check it out the video above.
“I feel like Jacent and I are walking into a lion’s den,” said Trina. “I know there’s going to be a million and one questions and comments, and it’s making me so nervous. I just hope Jacent can handle it because this is my family and like it or not, they’re not going anywhere.”
At the time the episode was filmed, Trina was still finalizing her divorce from Gabe. They got married in 2003, but split up in 2013 after she discovered he was cyber sexing with a chick he met online. Trina later confessed that she also had a brief affair with one of her band members. She filed for divorce then, but they later called it off, hoping to work it out. They even renewed their vows, but the rekindled love didn’t last, so Trina re-filed for divorce last October.
The Jasmine Brand reported that a Georgia judge signed off on the split April 16. Trina didn’t get Solis to sign a prenuptial agreement, and in California, Solis can get half. However, on Twitter he revealed “but in the end I didn’t take anything.” Despite being a major storyline on the show, Gabe says he doesn’t watch The Braxtons. Hmm, do you believe that?
