*Congratulations are in order for Kandi Burruss, who announced that she and husband Todd Tucker are expecting their first child together.
E! Online reports the couple hasn’t learned the sex of their bundle of joy yet. But that hasn’t stopped them from letting everyone know about their pending visit from the stork.
“We’re so thrilled to announce the news of our bundle of joy, it’s a dream come true,” Burruss told E! News, which mentioned that the reality TV star shared the good news with her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” castmates, who are thrilled.
In addition, Tucker revealed that the excitement was shared by his daughter Kaela and Burruss’ daughter, Riley, who are both from previous relationships.
“Our daughters, Kaela and Riley, couldn’t be happier about becoming big sisters,” he told E!.
News of Burruss’ pregnancy comes more than a year after she and Tucker got married in April 2014.
Professionally, Burruss is enjoying the re-launch of her record label, Kandi Koated. The label’s return to the scene is in full swing with the signing of two new acts, a girl group called Glamour and a band that goes by the name Loud.
“Glamour and Loud are about to take the world by storm! Not only do they have great vocals, their stage presence is amazing,” Burruss shared. “It was a no brainer for me to sign them up to represent the next generation of artists on Kandi Koated Entertainment.”
