Michael B. Jordan on Being a Marvel Superhero for the Rest of His Life

*The issue of race never came up during the “Fantastic Four” panel at Comic-Con, but Michael B. Jordan – who received hate mail when it was announced that he (an African American actor) will suit up as Marvel Comics superhero Flash in the upcoming remake – was instead asked about the weight of being connected to an iconic superhero for eternity.

Moderator Chris Hardwick reminded him: “You’re always going to be that guy. This character is part of you now.”

With “Fantastic Four” less than a month away from hitting theaters, Jordan says he’s ready for his inevitable lifetime connection to the character:

“Fantastic Four” premieres nationwide on Aug. 7.
