Man Posing as an Atlanta Rapper Allegedly Rapes, Robs 2 Women

alleged rapist and robber aaron hall*A man who posed as an Atlanta rapper on social media is now in jail as a real life criminal.

Al.com reports that Aaron Hall was on Facebook representing himself as Issa Thompson, a popular, 20-year-old up-and-coming rapper. Hall was jailed and charged with first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree sodomy and one count of first-degree robbery for luring two women to a park in Alabama where they were raped and robbed.

According to authorities, the sexual assault occurred at Kentuck Park in Northport, Ala. on June 30 and July 5 after the women went to meet a man they thought was Thompson. Hall was ultimately arrested at a nearby apartment building Wednesday morning (July 8) after investigators prevented another assault in the same park, according to Al.com.
