Al.com reports that Aaron Hall was on Facebook representing himself as Issa Thompson, a popular, 20-year-old up-and-coming rapper. Hall was jailed and charged with first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree sodomy and one count of first-degree robbery for luring two women to a park in Alabama where they were raped and robbed.
According to authorities, the sexual assault occurred at Kentuck Park in Northport, Ala. on June 30 and July 5 after the women went to meet a man they thought was Thompson. Hall was ultimately arrested at a nearby apartment building Wednesday morning (July 8) after investigators prevented another assault in the same park, according to Al.com.
Anyone who has recently been contacted by someone posing as Thompson are asked to contact the Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit at 205-464-8690.
