*New Orleans, LA – Out of the numerous day parties to be held during the 2015 Essence Festival, festival-goers were pleasantly surprised by a ‘turnt up’ impromptu performance by the cast members of “Empire.”
Yazz (Bryshere Gray), Gabourey Sidibe, and Jussie Smollett had attendees rocking out at one of the official Essence Day Part DJ Series, which just happened to feature hot celebrity DJ Spinderella that day.
DJ Spinderella showed she was still a force to be reckoned with while spinning in front of a massive crowd before the “Empire” trio came on stage.
Yazz did his thing on the mic while Gabourey was proving she can drop it like it’s hot,  and Jussie was playing the ultimate hype-man (see video snippet).
