The Call is Out for Removal of Bill Cosby’s Star from Hollywood Walk of Fame

*A coalition of African American Los Angeles civil rights leaders have withdrawn their support from entertainer Bill Cosby and are calling upon Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Leron Gubler to remove Cosby’s star on the
Hollywood Walk of Fame.

States Najee Ali, director of Project Islamic Hope.

“Bill Cosby, by his own admission, obtained drugs in order to use (on) young women he wanted to have sex with. As far as I’m concerned Cosby is a serial rapist. Rape is rape…..and we should all understand the devastating and traumatic pain this does to a woman for the rest of her life. Nearly 40 women have come forth publicly over the years stating publicly that Cosby drugged and had sex with them without their consent. Which is rape.

UPDATE: Bill Cosby’s Hollywood Star Will NOT be Removed: Chamber of Commerce

“Cosby deliberately placed himself in a position of high moral standards and told the African American community who they are to be, while he was cheating on his wife and drugging and raping women nationwide. This is the epitome of hypocrisy revealed. Cosby has been lying to his wife, family, loved ones, friends, colleagues, fans, the community of African American students, and the entire African American community.

“Shame on Whoopi Goldberg and the other African American Cosby supporters. Cosby did this to himself. Your continued support of a serial rapist is a major reason why women don’t want to report sexual assault because they feel no one will believe them. We are men against rape. These women have our full support. That’s why we’re calling for the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President Leron Gubler to remove Bill Cosby’s star from the walk of fame.”

  1. Really? Bill Cosby earned his “walk of fame”. Go and take those sheets off of the KKK bodies!!!
Do not reward murderers with Burger King after they have killed people. Lock up cops that kill and harass unarmed and innocent people. There’s plenty more things to do than think about Cosby. How about getting this nation together? Can Cosby get this nation together? NO! Can he separate this nation? NO! Bill Cosby is not a matter to the “real” problems that are happening in this world today….

    • A model came forward andsaid she was told to go to Mr Cosby’s and he would give her drugs and then they would have sex. That does not sound like rape to me. At least one of the victims was arrested for making false statements to the police and claims of rape that were proven to be false. Rape is a terrible crime, however, it is not Whoopi or anyone who is defending Cosby, it is the women who make false rape claims that cause women to be afraid to report rape.
