*Kourtney Kardashian allegedly dumped her hard-partying and womanizing baby daddy Scott Disick over the weekend, and Captain-save-a-Kardashian swooped in to save the day one again! Of course we’re referring to Kanye West.
According to Page Six, West stepped up to care for one of Scott and Kourtney’s young kids over the July 4th weekend after Kourtney dumped Disick, who was spotted getting cozy with an ex-girlfriend in the South of France.
While Kourtney stayed at home with daughter, Penelope, almost 3, and 6-month-old son, Reign … Mason went with Kim and Kanye to New York to spend the holiday on a yacht owned by friends J.R. and Loren Ridinger. Former NBA star Scottie Pippen, his wife, Larsa, and daughter Sophia were also onboard, according to reports.
Sources said Kim and Kanye didn’t bring a nanny to New York to help care for their daughter North, and they also played baby sitter to Mason.
“Kanye took Mason and Sophia to the movies after Kim and Larsa went to lunch at Cipriani,” a source told Page Six. (North napped.) The group later reconvened to watch fireworks on the boat with Jacob “The Jeweler” Arabo and others.
Kourtney and Scott’s relationship troubles have been well-documented on their E! reality shows. Which makes us wonder if this latest breakup is simply another PR stunt. Last season, while filming “Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons,” Kourtney kicked Scott from their Hamptons house, and Disick was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning shortly after.
Last week Disick was photographed cuddling with celebrity stylist Chloe Bartoli while on vacation in the South of France. Bartoli and Disick dated in 2006. After the release of compromising photos, a source close to the couple told ET. Disick has been spending an increasing amount of time with friends who “are not a good influence” on him and “not looking out for his best interests.”
The photos were enough to make Kourtney call it quits – again.
Kourtney and Disick, who have been dating since 2006 but never married, also broke up in 2010 on “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami” because of his alleged alcohol problem before reconciling. Of course they reconciled and she popped out two more kids. Since then, his partying has had no hints of slowing down.
Don’t be surprised if another reconciliation show is in the works – as well as another baby.
