*“Empire” star Kaitlin Doubleday had a busy offseason before returning to the set this month for Season 2.
She got engaged to her DJ boyfriend Devin Saint-Albin in May, and last month she worked with LAPD on the return of her dog Moose, who had been dognapped by teens attempting to sell the pooch for drugs.
And there’s even more drama waiting for her next season on “Empire.”
When we last saw Rhonda Lyon, she learned that she was pregnant. Also, she had just become a murderer – accidentally killing Vernon while trying to keep him from killing her husband, Andre Lyon.
Not only is Kaitlin looking forward to her character’s shenanigans next season, but also the added roles of multiple guest stars – particularly Alicia Keys and Chris Rock.
“I just can’t wait, honestly, for the music stuff,” she says. “I used to go to set and watch it even when I wasn’t working, so I can’t wait to go do that again. And Chris Rock is amazing, and he’s hilarious, so I can’t wait to see what he brings.”
