*On July 1, at 8pm Eastern, the TV One network did something unprecedented for the first time in its history. It  debuted a special presentation called “UnSung Revisited” which featured the original hip hop vocal band & super hit-making, song-writing & production team, Full Force.
For the first time, the award winning “UnSung” series is doing follow-ups on acts they’ve already featured before in the past. Full Force’s previous “UnSung” documentary which came out in 2012 was one of the highest rated “UnSung” episodes in TV One history.
Full Force is the six member musician/vocalizing collective that features the 3 Full Force blood brothers: Brian “B-Fine” George, Paul Anthony George and Lucien “Bowlegged Lou” George as well as cousins Gerard “Baby Gerry” Charles aka DJ Geenius, Curtis”Curt-t-t” Bedeau and J-R Hugh Clarke aka Shy Shy. The special “UnSung Revisited” series will also feature the updated follow-ups on Zapp Featuring Roger Troutman, Miki Howard, Kid ‘n’ Play and proud & gay dance legend, the late Sylvester, but Full Force will be front & center tonight (July 1) with their follow-up segment.
This special episode segment centered on group member Paul Anthony & his continued Cancer Champion journey. In 2012,when Paul revealed his Mantle Cell Lymphoma Cancer fight on the “UnSung” telecast he was in remission but soon after, that same year, the cancer came back with a vengeance turning into acute leukemia therefore rendering Paul fighting for his life. This “UnSung Revisited” segment tells the story of brave Paul’s continuous courageous fight as well as detailing the bone marrow stem cell transplant between he & his Donor champion brother Bowlegged Lou .Full Force has been performing all over the country while the brothers of the group have been doing motivational speaking engagements as well.
The Full Force “UnSung Revisited” episode also talks about the musical medicine that helped the fight while Paul was in and out of the hospital. The musical medicine was Paul Anthony & Full Force recording a brand new album on Sony Legacy entitled “Full Force:With Love From Our Friends.” The album features over 35 guest artists ranging from Faith Evans, Sheila E., Raphael Saadiq, Shanice, Big Daddy Kane, Tisha Campbell Martin, CeCe Peniston, UTFO, Tevin Campbell & others. “UnSung Revisited” also highlights the up-tempo inspirational song whose lyrics were written in the hospital by Paul Anthony entitled “I Feel Good, I Look Good, I’m God Good” which is performed by Full Force featuring Faith Evans & Sheila E. with The God Good Choir & Children.
The video also has a who’s who in cameos such as Will Smith, Quincy Jones, Common, Anthony Anderson, Roland Martin,50 Cent, Biz Markie, Chubb Rock, Donnie McCLurkin, etc. A new single coming out from the album is entitled “Your Love Makes Me High” performed by Full Force featuring Raphael Saadiq & Shanice. BTW, you can catch Shanice on the Oprah Winfrey Network/OWN with her and her husband, Flex Alexander’s top rated reality show, “Flex & Shanice.” “Your Love Makes Me High” will feature extra super special mixes to please the masses. It includes 2 dance mixes,1 Urban AC Soul mix, 2 hip hop/rap mixes with Alex J & The Hoodstars featuring 2 original members of Lou$tar & Sven Up with new young African American Asian gal rapper Barbara Jhayne. The Hoodstars is the original rap group that gave birth to Nicki Minaj. They are reuniting with new female raptress Miss Jhayne just for this single. Also featured will be new exciting Full Force acts such as producer/writer/musician, GuttaKeys and vocalist, writer, producer, musician Michelle Rescigno. The digital single packaging will also feature an inspirational mix entitled “God’s Love Makes Me High.” That title will also be featured on upcoming Full Force EP/album entitled “Godspirational Love Electric.” Radio guru Mr. Ruben Rodriguez of Ruben Rodriguez Entertainment will be handling radio marketing & promotion.
To help celebrate the the airing of the program, Full Force held a special advance screening on Wednesday July 1 at Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar located at 254 west 72nd street. Full Force also gave back by presenting 3 special Appreciation Tribute awards. One to Valerie Simpson who owns the legendary restaurant that she and her husband, the late Nick Ashford founded. Another award was presented to The UnSung production crew of A Smith & Co.; another to Ms. Cathy Hughes and her TV One/Radio One team. Full Force member “Bowlegged Lou said:

In other activity news, the Full Force brothers are working on a brand new reality show in development called “True Skool Agency.” The guys are also celebrating the 25th anniversary of the classic movie “House Party” of which they co-starred as the comedic high school bullies that terrorized Kid N Play. The movie also co-starred Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell Martin, AJ Johnson, Robin Harris, Daryl Chill Mitchell & George Clinton of Parliament Funkadelic who played the old skool DJ. “House Party” was written & directed by Reggie Hudlin and produced by his brother Warrington Hudlin, who recently hosted a special 25th anniversary screening of “House Party” at The Museum of Moving Images in New York City. There was a great behind the scenes Q&A moderated by Warrington and on the dais were the 3 Full Force brothers along with actor George Logan and Christopher Play Martin via skype. A month ago some of the “House Party” cast members that included Kid N Play, Full Force, Tisha Campbell, AJ Johnson all surprised Alicia Keys with a music & dance performance at her “House Party” pajama jam birthday party thrown for her by her husband, Swizz Beats.
Also, Full Force has reunited with Justin Timberlake’s manager Johnny Wright in their worldwide search for a young talented young male vocalist to record a duet with new female vocalist discovery Katelyn Jae. Full Force has remade & recorded the song for their album “With Love From Our Friends” on Sony Legacy as a dedication to the Backstreet Boys.
